Hi my name is Shawn Marshall Tsoka, I am a young menswear designer. Despite having no formal training, I have always been a student of the fashion industry – keeping my fingers on the pulse and curating a taste that is unique, modern, and sophisticated.

From wearing pinstripe jeans and snapback caps to elegant staples that do not need much consideration for elegant wear, my life has been about constant reinvention and passion-driven entrepreneurship to get to where I am today. 

As the pandemic caused a seismic shift in how we live, work and play, that presented an opportunity to declutter and start envisioning what constitutes a perfect wardrobe for the modern gentlemen with traditional sensibilities. 

And so, on the fundamental principal Less is More when More is Less, the Shawn Marshall brand was founded. 

The hypothesis is, if we find an impeccable balance between style and comfort with a collection of transitional garments in only staple colors, cut in luxury robust fabrics and finished to perfection – we can dress elegantly at home, work and to social occasions simultaneously. 

I bring to the fore years of experience from brands like Hackett London and my own start up-experience with Odrin at 44 Stanley and meld them together to create one-of-a-kind pieces that interweave casual and smart garments to fill a nascent gap in the market – a collection perfectly suitable for the boardroom as it is for a night out at Signature.
